Like many families, we endured excruciating years of misdiagnosis and unsuccessful treatment. Finally, we got some answers. Four of us were diagnosed with Lyme Disease and other autoimmune issues and two of our children were diagnosed with PANDAS. When our new PANDAS doctor recommended neurofeedback I had no idea what a game-changer it would be for our family!
We began to notice improvement in our daughter pretty quickly. She was was beginning to engage more creatively again and she had more regulated emotional responses. When the demands of getting to the doctor’s office became a barrier, our doctor allowed us to rent a system to use in our home. Before long, the entire family was benefitting. We were engaging more calmly, we had space to process the trauma of illness and the journey to find answers, and we were relating more effectively.
